PAYNEST PAYMENT GUIDES
WooCommerce payment integration for Bangladesh stores
PayNest connects a WordPress store running WooCommerce to a hosted checkout and payment-verification workflow. Customers pay to the merchant’s configured receiving account, while the integration connects the payment result to the store’s order.
What you need before setup
- A working WordPress website with WooCommerce installed.
- A PayNest merchant workspace and an eligible active plan.
- A website entry for your store with ownership verification completed.
- Enabled receiving accounts assigned to that website.
- The current PayNest WooCommerce plugin and the credentials shown in your workspace.
Connect your WordPress store
Download the plugin from your PayNest workspace and install it through WordPress’s plugin upload flow. Activate it, then open its payment settings in WooCommerce. Use the exact configuration fields and instructions supplied with your installed plugin version.
Connect the plugin to the correct PayNest website entry and complete ownership verification. Keep credentials private. When you manage several stores, use the credentials and receiving-account assignments for each specific store rather than copying one store’s configuration everywhere.
Set up bKash, Nagad and Rocket payment workflows
Configure the supported receiving accounts that you want to offer and assign them to the store. The methods customers see depend on which accounts are enabled and eligible in your workspace. Provider names do not mean PayNest issues provider credentials or has an official partnership.
For supported SMS-based verification, pair PayNest Connect on your Android device and check that eligible payment messages reach the correct workspace and account. A displayed payment method and a working verification flow are separate things; test both before accepting customer orders.
What happens during checkout
A customer places an order and follows the PayNest checkout flow. The checkout displays the configured payment options and the payment details for the invoice. The customer completes the payment and supplies the requested reference information.
Verification connects eligible payment evidence to the invoice. The payment-status update then reaches the store so the order can be handled according to the plugin’s behavior and your WooCommerce settings. A browser return by itself must not be treated as proof that money was received.
Check an order from start to finish
- Confirm that the checkout shows the correct store and receiving account.
- Verify the invoice amount against the WooCommerce order total.
- Complete a controlled successful payment and check its status in both systems.
- Check that repeated notifications do not fulfill the same order twice.
- Test cancellation or expiry and confirm that the order is not incorrectly marked paid.
- If a payment stays pending, check the device connection, account mapping and notification delivery before manually changing the order.
Choose a plan for your store
Compare current website allowances, payment quotas and renewal details on the PayNest pricing section. For several WordPress stores, confirm that your plan covers each connected website.
Use the plugin and documentation currently published in your workspace. The exact settings and supported behavior can change between versions, so this overview does not replace the version-specific installation guide.
